This new partnership confirms the growing importance of these two relatively new organizations and how they are helping to shape the future of the running industry.

The Running Industry Alliance exists to collectively assist its members to drive the wider running industry forward, whilst improving the sport and business of running, including events, which where this new partnership with ASEC really connects.

The Adventure Sports Events Conference (ASEC) is aimed specifically at people who organize adventure sports events, which includes trail and mountain running. Now in its 3rd year, ASEC will once again provide an opportunity to hear some highly regarded speakers whilst networking with other event organizers and industry professionals.

The hosts of ASEC, Shane Ohly of Ourea Events and James Thurlow of Open Tracking, are Foundation Members of RIA, whilst ASEC is an Alliance Partner. Further RIA Members sharing their expertise at the conference include Nick Tuppen from Threshold Sports.
